Sand Hill Heritage Center opened it's doors on June 6, 2026, during the Climax Small Town Saturday event. The MNHNW Entrepreneurs and Inventor panels was the featured exhibit.
The children's area invited participation to Build a Barn with Lincoln Logs and prizes were awarded.
The other portion of our new space was arranged, with mid-century artifacts and appliances, by the days of the week.
The typical routine household chores set the rhythm for the week: Monday-wash day, Tuesday- ironing, Wednesday- mending... It's a familiar children's folk tune.
250 souvenir handcrafted mugs were commissioned by a Felton potter. Red t-shirts adorned with 250th US flag and fireworks sold out that day.
We'll bring a couple of mugs for door prizes to the next MNHNW meeting! (Monday August 24th, 2026 in Ada, MN)
